Target Audience for thrillers

Finding the target audience for thrillers as a whole is very hard because of all the sub genres that attract different audiences. However most thrillers arnt easy watchers. They can be complicated meaning a more matured mind would understand them better then a younger person. Men seem to enjoy films with tension more then women however this is a stereotype but thats what makes target audiences. also most of the sub genres for thrillers are targeted more on men. for example action, crime, horror,sci fi... i would say the target audience is 18-55 mostly male and well educated.
